The main purpose of the job is to provide internal engineering services for the Underground Mine Project.
The job ensures the project receives engineering input and monitoring required to achieve predefined quality, safety, cost, and production targets.
You will be responsible for the planning, design, engineering, erection, and commissioning of all permanent equipment which form part of the scope of works for the projects.
The job focuses on the structural and mechanical works underground. The Mine is developing further structures underground.
To be considered for the demanding role you must have skills in project management with underground mining construction.
Engineering Degree or higher national diploma in Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
- 8 years plus post graduate experience in a similar position
- Drafting experience
- Ability to work in AutoCAD or similar design software.
- Knowledge in steel fabrication
- Knowledge in steel erection
- Strong and advanced SHE skills management.
- Lead a team of Artisans and other skilled personnel.
The role offers a good salary on a fixed term 2-year contract.
