Our Client in the Manufacturing sector is looking for a Machine Operator to join their committed and dedicated team to bring excellence in product and service quality in a fast-paced environment. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position.
The Person:
- Someone who has worked with or is currently working in a Paper and Packaging plant.
- Able to produce highly accurate work, that requires concentration and physical effort.
- Prepared to consistently learn new machining properties and techniques.
- A committed individual who can work independently and yet be able to combine the roles of team leader and team player at the same time, and for the attainment of set objectives and targets.
Duties:
- Machine operation
- Logging in all machine breakdowns
- Attending to machine breakdowns
- Cleaning and maintaining the equipment.
- Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high-quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
- Housekeeping and sanitation
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 5 Levels including Mathematics
- A holder of requisite trade certificates and/or journey workmanship
- At least 5 years of working experience in a recognized industrial company with similar settings.
