Our client operates in the paper and packaging business, they seek to fill the above position.
Job Purpose:
To raise the quality standard of the Group to a world-class level by implementing quality systems and audits to achieve the desired standards.
Accountabilities:
- Determining, negotiating, and agreeing on in-house quality procedures
- Assessing and monitoring the performance of the production to ensure that the agreed quality standards are met.
- Specifying the quality of raw materials to be used as inputs in the Plant.
- Investigating and setting standards for quality, health and safety.
- Determining the training needs of operators.
- Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality management.
- Work together with the statistician to record, analyze, and distribute statistical information on quality management performance.
- Formulate systems for quality audits.
- Carry out internal audits on the quality management systems.
- Review and report the principal causes of quality loss, and non-conformance and make recommendations on how to improve.
Qualifications and Knowledge
- Degree in Engineering – Quality Management
- Knowledge of the quality management environment, health, and safety management systems
