The appointment offers a structured, time-bound executive familiarisation and leadership grooming programme, positioning the successful incumbent for a future Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) role.
The role provides deep strategic immersion, working in close partnership with the incumbent GCEO and Board, and aligned to the Group’s long-term growth, market expansion, and brand-led value creation strategy. Exposure will span the full FMCG value chain, including brand strategy, route-to-market optimisation, sales execution, supply chain performance, and commercial and margin management across complex, high-volume environments.
The ideal candidate will bring senior executive leadership experience across marketing, commercial and operational disciplines, with a career forged within local and international FMCG brand-driven organisations. Your track record will demonstrate disciplined execution, portfolio optimisation, sustainable margin enhancement, and consistent market share growth. Knowledge of regional FMCG markets will be a distinct advantage.
Broad-based local and international executive development, combined with high-impact strategic assignments, will form the foundation of this leadership pathway, and significantly elevate your profile within the regional FMCG business community.
You will be a high-calibre C-suite executive, well-educated and professionally qualified, ideally between 35 and 45 years of age, with an impeccable track record and a clearly demonstrable trajectory toward Group CEO or equivalent enterprise leadership. Prior Board exposure is strongly preferred, supported by sound governance acumen and proven brand and people leadership at scale.
The role is open to locally based and internationally based Zimbabwean executives. Regular local and regional travel will be required.
