The Procurement Lead works closely with the Project Manager and Group Supply Chain Manager and shall be responsible for assisting with all the procurement requirements for the Mine Projects.
This role is pressurised, challenging and formulates the operational success of the Mine operations daily.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the projects receive the materials, equipment and services needed to complete the scope of work on time and on budget. You shall work with the logistics team in planning, order initiation, commercial adjudication, tracking and all related procurement processes from local and international suppliers. The complexities of the role are plenty and you must therefore have the procurement management system experience – ideally from the mining, heavy industry, or technical sectors.
You must be a seasoned procurement practitioner and understand technical jargon to assist.
You must be qualified in supply chain management with relevant competencies to apply.
