Our Tobacco Merchant client seeks to appoint a dynamic Operations Head to assist with the internal operations of the organisation which covers the busy departments of
- Internal and external Logistics and Transport management
- Client Warehouse Management
- Human Resources Management
- Loss Control and Security Management.
The fast-paced logistical and warehouse management of tobacco produced for export on behalf of clients requires a strong understanding of all policies and procedures in respect of the above duties. You should be a seasoned practitioner and leader with significant experience preferably from the tobacco, cotton, or allied agricultural sector. However, consideration shall be given to those applicants managing a vast logistical and warehouse operation for the FMCG sector at senior management level only.
This is a senior role and formulates part of the management team.
