Our client is one of Zimbabwe’s leading security providers and a premier installer of electronic security systems. They are seeking a highly organized and technologically adept Credit Control Manager to take on this challenging and high impact role.
Duties:
- Oversee the debt collection process to ensure timely recovery of outstanding debts.
- Attend to billing queries and coordinate their resolution with the respective Debt Collectors.
- Manage collections from key customers.
- Ensure debt collectors clear unmatched credits and unidentified deposits on a daily basis
- Lead and manage 5 debt collectors.
- Formulate collection targets in liaison with the Head of Finance and monitor team performance against agreed targets.
- Analyse the debtor’s ledger and identify potential credit risks for discussion during weekly debtors’ meetings.
- Follow up with legal representatives regarding debtors whose accounts have been handed over for legal recovery.
- Issue final demand letters following approval during the Weekly Debtors Meeting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting /finance
- Credit management qualification added advantage
- 5 years working experience in credit control with at least 2 years at manager level.
