Our client is a significant Toyota Franchise operator and offers an excellent work opportunity to a local or returning person wishing to return home for the position of a Workshop Manager or Senior Lead Mechanic.
The client operates a nationwide service centre representing Toyota brands.
A Workshop Manager and Senior Lead Mechanic is required for their Harare Service Centre.
Ideally you should be a mature Manager with prior experience in running a major service centre.
You will report to a senior manager and are required to manage a team of mechanic and technical personnel in daily servicing of vehicles for the public and corporate clients.
- You shall also supervise the company apprenticeship mechanics.
- You must be a qualified service mechanic with experience in running a workshop.
- You must have good man management and excellent analytical fault-finding skills.
- You must have completed your apprenticeship trade Class 1 or hold Technician’s qualification preferably from Toyota training or similar brand to be considered.
References and track record will be checked with past local and external employers.
You shall be requested to undertake a hands-on test in the workshop to demonstrate your knowledge and skill ability.
An above market salary with benefits shall be offered.
