This important role seek to appointment a meticulous person to ensure the stores and inventory controls are in place to ensure the Mine operates with adequate stocks and supplies.
- Develop a comprehensive Inventory management system for the Mine.
- Ensure there is seamless integration with the procurement & supplier payment process.
- Procures and expedites deliveries as well as manage the inflow, storage, and outflow of stocks for organizational use.
- Manages the materials stock inventory at the Mine.
- Manage the safe storage of supplies, equipment & spares.
- Manage value propositions in the procurement process.
- Overseeing the monthly stock take process and ensure variances are cleared timeously.
- Generating materials reorder level reports and advising the respective end users accordingly.
- Ensuring compliance to legal, statutory & regulatory requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence and implementation of all management systems and procedures (i.e., compliance with ISO 14001 EMS, ISO 45001 OH & S, ISO 9001)
- Monitors all materials handling and disposal of used products such as used oils etc. in line with environmental regulations.
- Trains subordinate personnel in inventory control and storekeeping procedures
- Prepares budgetary, inventory control reports, statistical and activity reports
Ideally your work experience should be from the mining, heavy engineering or technical related due to the nature of this role.
The role is urgent and requires person to start as soon as possible – Salary is in USD.
