The role, based in Harare, reports to the CEO and leads the sales and marketing team in a nationwide sector.
Our client, a well-known manufacturer and distributor, offers a sizable portion of specific products to the construction sector, which is on a drive to improve the landscape of Zimbabwe. The position exists to give direction to the Sales and Marketing team with a view to growing both local and export sales. You shall be expected to direct, create, and implement marketing and sales plans for the company.
We seek a modern sales and marketing practitioner accustomed to marketing techniques in brand management, media, digital, print, customer service programs, marketing retention and strategy initiatives, business development, public relations, sales, and research statistic plans to meet targets and profit.
You will be an integral part of a collaborative effort, working closely with the manufacturing and production director and other teams to meet local and export orders for their established and new clients.
To be considered for this role, you must be interested in the construction supplies sector. A knowledgeable approach to engineering would be a distinct advantage. However, high-level marketing skills are wanted, and therefore, their products may be learned.
You must have:
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in a senior position in the field of Sales & Marketing
- Construction Material (s) background an added advantage
- A first degree in Marketing or Engineering or its equivalent
- Professional Business Administration qualification such as MBA is an added advantage.
