Our client is a renewable energy service provider with its head office in Harare. They provide commercial and residential solar solutions in line of lighting, water pumping, and heating that are aimed at alleviating electricity challenges. They are looking for an experienced customer-centered Sales Manager with a background in the services industry.
Role
The role entails a committed individual who has strong knowledge of sales concepts and a passion for understanding customer needs in order to provide them with suitable solutions. The Sales Manager will lead a team of Sales Reps/Executives to execute a well-thought-out strategy that’s aligned with the company objectives. The incumbent is expected to think “blue sky” to add value in growing the sales verticals capabilities to power growth beyond Zimbabwe.
Responsibilities
- Growing the sales team through training and recruitment
- Formulating a strategy across multiple channels with clear understandable metrics
- Collaborating with Marketing and Business Development in making lead generation, acquisition, and product development successful
- Reporting valid data on time to inform business performance
- Manage sales team members from an HR perspective
- Grow sales to $200,000 USD/month within 6 months
- Maintain high levels of professionalism and integrity
- Maintain a positive and growing nett promoter score with clients
- Own the client’s journey from end to end
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Sales / Marketing or equivalent
- 6 years minimum sales experience.
- Must have a driver’s license.
- Finance Exposure.
