Our client is a renewable energy service provider with its head office in Harare. They provide commercial and residential solar solutions in line of lighting, water pumping, and heating that are aimed at alleviating electricity challenges.
About the Role
A customer-centered Sales Executive. The role entails a committed individual who has deep knowledge of the products and services, a passion for understanding customer needs, and providing a path to sustainable solutions. The Sales Executive will be the first touch point and guide to new customers, existing clients, and prospects/leads. Armed with this knowledge, the incumbent is able to tactically grow the sales pipeline as a material aspect to achieve outsized growth beyond Zimbabwe. This may be achieved by:
- Developing sales pitches to sell the products and services
- Making cold calls to create sales leads
- Demonstrating & presenting products to potential clients
- Establishing new business
- Identify and visit prospective customers
- Ensure lead generation has high sales conversion
Responsibilities
- Develop a pipeline of leads to fill 6 months of work in 60 days
- Establish a clear reporting format for sales updates daily, weekly and monthly in the first month
- Collaborate with the Operations and Technical team to convert leads at a rate of 20% within 3 months
- Create and maintain boilerplates and collateral for sales (not marketing) within 1 month
- Establish and clearly define channels for prospects and communicate characterizations
- Achieve a positive NPS (net promoter score) from prospects and clients
- Achieve a sales cycle of fewer than 6 months for large projects and 3 months for retail
- Collaborate with marketing to achieve a cost of acquisition of <2.5% of sales
- Sales Forecasts on a quarterly basis and subsequently annual
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales-centricic certification
- Familiar with Salesforce
- Driver’s License
- Sales experience +3 years
