Our client operates in the dangerous Liquids and Petroleum and by-product goods.
The (HSECQ) Risk & Executive reports to the CEO.
The role seeks a specialist service which covers;
- Health, Safety, Quality and Compliance (HSECQ) with risk, financial and compliance exposure.
- Managerial experience in managing and controlling these matters are required.
The company operates under the International Standard Organisation (ISO) which guides them to run the Financial and Enterprising risk. Therefore, your ability as the Head you must be well versed with ISO/Risk management policies using the ISO under the IMS (Integrated Management system).
Reporting to the CEO, the Risk and Compliance Manager is actively responsible for supporting, developing, and implementing strategic plans in accordance with the company’s mission and vision statements. It is part of the Executive team and responsible for:
- Managing all aspects of risk to the organisation, its employees, clients, reputation, assets, and interests of stakeholders. The specific risk areas include, corporate governance, information security, regulatory compliance, insurance, and operational risk ensuring full implementation and management of the integrated management systems.
- Ensuring that employees conform to the firm’s policies and procedures from an operations and service perspective, including ISO Standards.
- Providing strategic planning, risks management support, risk profiling, research, and advice to senior management on risk and compliance matters such as SHEQ management, Internal Controls and Compliance, legal risk and ISO integrated management system.
- Planning, directing, or coordinating activities to ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards. This role dictates both employee and business safety.
