Our client seeks a Resident Geologist – Head of Department to be based at their Gold Mine.
The role reports to the General Manager.
This role is part of the management team and works in conjunction with a team of Geo-Technicians.
To be considered for this role – you must be:
- Degreed and at least 5 – 8years at Senior Geologist or HOD level
- Competent in both Underground and Open pit mining
- Experienced with exploration and planning processes in mineral exploration
- Preferable Vulcan or Surpac proficiency.
- Ability to lead a team of Geo-Technicians
- Preferably experienced in geological gold mining would be a distinct advantage.
The position offers a good salary – company vehicle – and single weekly accommodation on site with easy reach back to Harare for weekends.
