We’re looking for a dynamic Resident Engineer (Electrical) to lead electrical systems across both open cast and underground sections.

The role would suit a seasoned Engineer with 5 to 8 years mining experience with excellent knowledge of the duties required as the Mine’s Resident Engineer. You shall be in charge of the overall engineering function including fixed and mobile plants, including civils and projects.
You will direct and lead all electrical maintenance, installation & commissioning on-site. You must ensure compliance with mining and safety regulations and manage HV/LV systems together with ensuring reliability of power is available for the plant and mining operation.
You must hold a relevant
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc/BEng/BTech).
- 5–10 years’ mining experience (gold mining advantage).
- Strong management leadership, analytical & decision-making skills.
- Ability to work within a team reporting to the GM – Mine Manager
