Regional Chief Financial Officer – CA – Harare based

The Regional Chief Finance Officer will be responsible for taking on a leadership role in financial decision-making that affects Zimbabwe and Southern Africa and will provide strategic financial input to the Regional CEO. The CFO will play a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of all operations in the region. The Regional Chief Finance Officer will also be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and running all the finance activities for Southern Africa and this will include financial reporting, internal financial controls, business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.

This senior role naturally will attract a very senior CA – (Articled Trained) currently operating at CFO/FD level or looking from promotion. Our client operates in a high paced FMCG and Technologies Sector and only the best leader will do to lead the finance department.

Besides retaining impeccable abilities in CFO leadership – you are expected to have senior experience with  

• Advanced knowledge in General Accounting and Reporting; Internal Controls; Tax Accounting and other financial in tools with
• Sound expansion strategies from finance and all operational matters. The
• Understanding of the overarching Government and related industry regulatory Acts and Provisions regarding Finance in Southern Africa;
