Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Control and Quality Assurance Manager to lead their group’s efforts in maintaining the highest standards of excellence. In this role, you will be the guardian of quality, ensuring every project not only meets but exceeds industry benchmarks for safety and craftsmanship.
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing robust quality assurance protocols from a project’s start to its completion. You’ll collaborate closely with project teams, conduct regular inspections, and identify opportunities for improvement. Your meticulous attention to detail will be key as you review construction plans, materials, and workmanship, ensuring they align with our exacting standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance policies and procedures for all construction projects.
- Lead regular site inspections and audits to ensure strict compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Oversee the testing and inspection of construction materials and processes to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Create and maintain accurate quality control documentation and detailed reports.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including inspectors and regulatory agencies, to ensure all projects meet compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to swiftly address quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing initiatives to enhance overall project performance.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments related to quality and safety on construction sites.
- Train and educate staff on quality assurance standards, best practices, and procedures.
- Manage quality audits and ensure all findings are meticulously documented and followed up on.
- Stay current with the latest industry best practices, regulations, and quality standards.
- Qualifications and Knowledge

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in the construction industry.
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field is a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge of quality management, environmental, health, and safety management systems.
