Our client seeks to appoint a Quality Assurance Manager for their veterinary and public health chemicals manufacturing factory. The incumbent will be expected to drive the quality assurance process and reports to the Research and Development Executive.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and maintains integrated programs and systems that guarantee compliance with cGMP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SO 45 001.
- Coordinates internal and external audits on the above systems.
- Gives technical advice on product development in compliance with regulatory requirements related to the quality of finished products and driving the roadmap to cGMP compliance.
- Approves incoming materials and release finished products for sale.
- Coordinates teams to formulate and implement strategies for developing and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Supports other departments with technical expertise toward product and process improvement including process validations.
- Prepares registration dossiers, new product registrations, and product stability studies.
- Monitors field trials and pharmacovigilance
- Develops staff and manages training programs for subordinates.
- Ensure company policies, regulations, and procedures are always enforced.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in the Pharmaceutical or Veterinary Sciences field.
- Membership to a relevant professional body such as the Zimbabwe Council of Veterinary Surgeons.
- Registration license with the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of three years post-qualification experience in the pharmaceutical, veterinary, or related manufacturing industry.
