Management Appointment | Gold Mining

A leading gold mining operation seeks an experienced Plant Manager to take overall responsibility for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of its Processing Plant.
The successful candidate will be accountable for gold recovery, throughput, plant utilisation, operating costs, safety, environmental performance, plant reliability, and continuous improvement.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will be a senior operational metallurgist/process professional with proven experience managing a gold processing plant.
Strong practical experience in:
- Gold ore processing and mineral processing
- Crushing, milling, classification and flotation
- Gold recovery and process optimisation
- Oxidative treatment
- Metallurgical accounting and reconciliation
- Throughput, recovery, and plant utilisation improvement
- Process troubleshooting and cost management
- Plant reliability and Engineering interface
Experience with complex circuits and non-oxide gold ores will be advantageous.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- BSc in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, or related discipline
- 8–10+ years’ relevant experience, preferably in gold mining
- 3–5+ years’ management experience within a processing plant
- Master’s degree advantageous
