Merchandising Manager

Our client operates in the FMCG domain, seeks to fill the above position. 

Key Responsibilities 

The main purpose of this position is to coordinate, monitor and enforce staff to drive sales for the client’s products. Reporting to the Business Executive, the successful applicant will among other key aspects, be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and coordinating the work of Supervisors and Merchandisers.
  • Engaging client representatives for order quantities and delivery timescales.
  • Monitoring outlets and ensuring stock positions are in line with client policy and merchandising standards.
  • Interacting with customer representatives daily and solving any problems that arise.
  • Ensuring that Supervisors and Merchandisers are performing, complying, and executing tasks according to Company standards.
  • Coaching and training Supervisors.
  • Reviewing weekly reports and compiling monthly operations reports.

 Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Marketing or any related qualification.
  • A relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
  • At least three years working experience.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to initiate and build relationships with clients.

Salary $120,000 ZWL plus benefits
