Our client is a successful player in the mining sector with solid support and committed investment from Stakeholders and Investors. The Mine is highly profitable and runs on a successful 24/7 – shift operation. The role is offered due to the pending retirement of the current MD. We seek a person who will offer more than just a technical skill, as leadership has been cornerstone and key to their success. You are expected to lead a dynamic team based at the Mine.
Ideally, you should have already climbed the business or mining rank and file and achieved HOD – Director or a similar status ready for the next challenge.
Our client is looking for a pivotal seasoned leader, preferably well known in mining circles, who is not just capable of running a well known Mine, but lead from the front, to ensure profits and jobs are maintained at an acceptable level. Naturally, your work and educational skill would match the level of person required, and therefore, we are keen to hear from those applicants who feel that they have what it takes to lead the team for profit. The work and social culture of the Mine and Head Office is well defined, and therefore our client will wait for the right person to ensure the best fit and skill is achieved.
