Special Requirements:
- Theoretical knowledge of International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing or International Standards on Auditing, and practical / on-the-job application of standards.
- Good working knowledge of relevant local legislation e.g. Income Tax Act, Companies Act.
- Command over the processes within the core business cycles i.e., Financial Reporting, Treasury, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Expenditure (Procurement and Accounts Payable), Human Capital Management (Payroll), and Revenue (Sales and Marketing, Accounts Receivable, and Credit Management).
- Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of office software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce Internal Audit (Honors)
- Bachelor of Accounting Science Honors (BCompt Honors)
- Certificate in Theory of Accounting (CTA)
- A related accounting/auditing honours degree
