Our client – a leading provider of reinsurance solutions is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill this position.
The incumbent will report directly to the Group’s Internal Auditor
Responsibilities:
- Prepares a comprehensive audit program.
- Conducts field work and prepares working papers and draft reports.
- Assess risk, carries out investigations, root cause analysis and compliance reviews.
- Reviews application controls, and the control environment.
- Implement audit programme.
- Identify and review relevant documentary and electronic evidence.
- Provide recommendations to improve the GRC environment.
Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Financial Management, Finance or equivalent or a relevant degree from a recognized University.
- At least five (2) years’ relevant working experience in the financial services sector or auditing financial services institution.
- Accreditation with the Institute of Internal Auditors or any other similar professional body.
- Sound analytical, problem-solving, and brilliant accounting skills.
- Strong IT skills and good interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to develop and train others.
