A new and exciting mining operation is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the full HR function for a growing workforce of approximately 100 employees.
The successful candidate will possess strong generalist HR experience together with sound Industrial Relations (IR) expertise within a mining, industrial, or heavy commercial environment.
Key responsibilities include setting up the HR department, recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary and grievance handling, HR policy implementation, performance management, compliance, payroll coordination, training, and fostering positive workforce engagement during the mine start-up phase.
Applicants should hold a relevant HR qualification with a minimum of 3- 5 years’ HR management experience, excellent communication skills, and a practical, hands-on leadership style.
Mining sector exposure is essential,
