This senior role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The role requires a very multiskilled person with the ability to handle a wide spectrum in house service portfolio and shall cover leadership in;

Human Capital Management/ Learning and Development/ Talent acquisition and management Services Administration. I .T.   Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Public relations and Corporate Communication.

Reporting to the CEO, the role is actively responsible for supporting, developing and implementing strategic plans in accordance with the company’s mission and vision statements. The position is part of the executive team with the responsibility to oversee non-revenue generating operations/systems and ensure they run seamlessly and efficiently.  The job entails providing strategic planning, operational support, research, and advice to senior management on administrative matters such as staff management, financial planning, I T operational efficiencies, Social responsibility and facilities management.

It also involves facilitating communication and training for all staff. as well as ensuring that employees conform to the firm’s policies and procedures from an operations and service perspective, including labour and wage laws.

They also ensure that departmental goals align with organizational goals and help teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives. They are also responsible for the supervision of support staff, including managing their training and development.

They also oversee expense management, including budget tracking, headcount ratios, and travel and expense reports, and other kinds of expenses pertaining to the organization, with a focus on adherence to firm policies. Co-ordinating office processes and procedures to ensure organisational and operational effectiveness and efficiency. Managing all aspects of the HR function within the company including the Learning & Development, together with management of Public Relations activity. Based at head office, the role will require travel to ensure appropriate and timely communication across all levels throughout the company.

They are also responsible for constantly conducting staff meetings to communicate policies and procedures, share best practices, and promote teamwork within the organization, providing high-level administrative support in various aspects of an organization’s operations.

 

They are primarily responsible for the business and service functions with a focus on consistency, quality, and compliance with firm policies and procedures.

The major tasks, duties, and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for carrying out analysis on complex resource management issues and initiatives that concern the organization, and prepare associated reports, correspondence, and submissions to senior management
  • Provide relevant information and support for the preparation of financial reports and budgets
  • Direct, manage, and develop the capacity of administrative staff to guarantee smooth business operations and the provision of accurate and timely information
  • Represent the organization on internal and external matters, including negotiations, conventions, seminars, public hearings and meeting, forums, Social responsibility functions.
  • Responsible for overseeing the formulation and implementation of Corporate Services plans, policies, and processes
  • Responsible for conducting commercial activities as required
  • Responsible for coordinating aspects related to hiring commercial and residential facilities, lease management, and rental payments
  • Undertake measures to tone down business risks associated with physical security, real estate matters.
  • Responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive corporate social responsibility policy.
  • The Head of Corporate services must have the ability and experience to motivate and drive the teams and colleagues to achieve both the overall company targets and key performance objectives. Strong people management skills are also essential to encourage personal development and ensure employee engagement is maintained and motivate staff at all times.

The overall role requires skills in areas of – HR:

  • Manage and develop HR and administrative department to ensure quality services are provided.
  • To take overall responsibility to ensure there is training and professional development of all staff throughout the organisation
  • Develop and implement the HR /Talent Management and People strategies aligned to the business objectives.
  • Regularly review the company’s talent management processes within the business areas, including performance/potential management, resource planning and succession planning.
  • Implement an effective way to manage HR productivity and performance measure.

Administration

  • Our client seeks a highly educated and well-versed executive with education and skills as follows;
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human resources management, or in a related field, and relevant working experience. However, a Master’s degree is an added advantage with Strong IT literacy skills. A strong background in HR and support services as listed above.

Organisational Development and Training:

  • Planning, developing and implementing a strategy for organisation’s Talent development.
  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of organisational performance.
  • Maintaining awareness and knowledge of new organisational development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to Executives and Senior Managers.

Public relations

  • Responsible for the management of a company’s communications strategy and objectives. Develops communications plan and implements a broad range of public relations activities. Develop effective communications plan that give the Business a positive image. Develop, integrate, and implement PR activities designed to enhance company image. Come up with the Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy which will enhance the corporate image.

I.T

  • Formulate the I T strategic plan to increase company efficiency. Ensure high utilization and enhancement of Technology in the organization.
