This senior role requires a mature Chartered Accountant with relevant mining experience to be based at their flagship operation.
The role reports to the General Manger of the Mine with reporting information to their Head Office.
- Responsible for full finance, administration, and commercial functions of the division.
- Responsible for the finance team and its output to deliver with Financial Reporting; Planning & Analysis; Treasury & Taxation; Payroll; Commercial & Procurement; Information Technology; and Administration.
- Development of financial systems and workflow systems to ensure duties and strict expenditure in compliance with budget.
- Responsible for controls in compliance and risk management across all company assets.
- The preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Preparation and presentation of financial results and key information to the Executives management team
- Collaborating with key stakeholders in the development and execution of operational and capital plans.
- Other duties as required as the HOD.
