We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Engineering to lead our large-scale tobacco processing plant operating 24/7. The successful candidate will ensure maximum plant availability, drive engineering excellence, and lead a high-performing team in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of new engineering projects across Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil disciplines.
- Plan, implement, and manage both CAPEX and OPEX budgets to optimize operations.
- Develop and mentor a talented engineering team, ensuring high performance and succession planning.
- Design and execute comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Oversee health, safety, and quality programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (2.1 or better) from a recognized institution.
- Post-Engineering professional qualification.
- MBA is an advantage.
Experience:
- At least 10 years post-qualification experience in mid to senior-level engineering management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in managing new engineering projects.
- Experience with CAPEX and OPEX planning and implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-talented teams of qualified managers.
- Hands-on experience supervising Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil engineering projects.
