Group Senior Compensation & Benefits Manager – Local and Regional Countries

The Senior Compensation & Benefits Manager, reports into the Group Head of HR and will be responsible for providing a professional and efficient technical service to the wider organisation and internally within the HR team, supporting their teams across all their six regional locations on all compensation and benefits issues. 

You will support employees reward and benefit proposition with the goal of attracting, retaining, and motivating high quality employees while reducing turnover and enhancing the Group’s profile as the best place to work as a preferred and employer of choice.    

Compensation & benefits

  • Responsible for group wide job evaluation process.
  • Responsible for review and analysis of any out of cycle pay changes.
  • Responsible for supporting end of year compensation processes.
  • Supports the design and ongoing view of bonus and incentive schemes.
  • Assists with reviews, development, implementation and ongoing administration of total rewards policies and processes.
  • Responsible for complex, day-to-day analytical and administrative support in the areas of international compensation & benefits.
  • Supports and maintains salary range structures, establishes cost effective allowances, and establishes market-based benefits.
  • Participates in and analyzes published and custom country surveys; recommends new opportunities for obtaining salary and benefit data.
  • Supports the business with budgeting processes with respect to compensation and benefits .
  • Conducts benefits analysis to identify internal/external trends and compliance improvements.
  • Provides on-going compensation and benefits education to management.
  • Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues, and best practices. 

Systems, Data and Governance 

  • Responsible for data quality, reporting and functionality on Compensation and Benefits.
  • Responsible for third party relationships and vendors (job evaluation, salary surveys etc.)
  • Provide timely and efficient support to all users on any system or data queries .
  • Continuous review and improvement of all Compensation and Benefits processes.
  • Ensures compliance with local wage and employment laws, including pay and benefits review and recommendations.
  • Collaborates as part of the HR team to develop internal best practices and continually improve the annual compensation process. 

HR Support 

  • Working with the Country HR Teams to support the various HR teams with Compensation, Benefits systems, and all HR cyclical activities. 

Qualifications/Requirements 

  • Min 5 years’ working experience in Compensation and Benefits
  • Degree level education (Ideally in human resources, business administration or finance)
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and ability to successfully perform in-depth analyses.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Power point
  • Adequate knowledge of current labour rules and regulations
  • Familiarity with various types of incentives and benefits
  • Solid understanding of compensation concepts, job evaluation, including job analysis, market pricing, and total rewards.
  • Ability to research, compile, and interpret data in a logical format.
  • Excellent communicator who can build relationships and has a strong customer focus.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and able to work autonomously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative work environment.
