The Group Procurement leader shall oversee sourcing and purchase of group direct and indirect raw materials and products in line with best practice across and from foreign and local markets.

You are expected;
- To manage group procurement of Goods and Services to meet business objectives in terms of cost, quality, delivery lead times and inventory norms
- Manage and develop Supplier and Customer Relationship
- Manage Inbound Logistics for all imported products
- Coordinate procurement meetings, supplier visits & audits
- Work with team to manage clearing agents and regulatory authorities for imports and exports permits, clearance and acquittals with government ministries and departments, agents and other players
- Coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement
- To work with the Procurement Committee in building and updating SOPs in line with company policies
- To ensure adherence and proper monitoring and compliance of :
- Standard operating procedures
- Policies
- Audit
- Supplier registration
- Rationalisation of supplier registers by products and service categories.
- Supplier registration, screening and evaluation of company profile and documents which must client criteria requirements.
- Supplier update listing and reporting
You should be a talented Leader educated in appropriate Supply Chain and Procurement management skills with good knowledge of commodities and finished product lines. An enviable professional track record with a respected operation is required. Your exceptional negotiation skills to ensure savings against budget is wanted. End to end supply risk management with audit compliance knowledge is a must.
