The role requires the Sales Director to perform multi tasked functions in sales for growth and profit for the company. The job requires travel.

You are expected to;

  • Develop and implement local and regional sales strategy for SADC
  • Manage growing team of Sales personal
  • Accountable for revenue growth and forecasting
  • Maintain and expand the business scope for dedicated customers based on set individual objectives, strategic country planning and global strategy.
  • Conduct actions to ensure and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Act proactively to detect and create opportunities: identify and acquire potential customers, using internal tools to promote Digital Identity & Security’s products.
  • Prepare proactively the Bid Management phase being accountable as described in the Pipeline process.
  • Expand the company business and opportunities in Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania, Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, South Africa, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.

Customer Focus

  • Be the primary sales interface, including business and administrative coverage.
  • Own Account Planning Session (APS) & Bid Business Opportunity Review (BOR) preparation.
  • Interface with various resources within the Business Units to ensure the customer needs are fully addressed and that appropriate resources are allocated in due time to the account.
  • Ensure consistency between the different local commercial approaches on Digital Identity & Security’s level in order to achieve both short to long term business results.
  • Establish high-level strategic relationships with the Customers. Identify main contacts and decision makers. Facilitate the creation of relevant customer relationships
  • Create and implement a follow-up process in order to monitor the customer actions and opportunities

Accounts Acquisition

  • Manage Bid Management to set up tender responses, strategies and Bid process deliverables. Coordinate and manage tenders answer
  • Be accountable for all named accounts revenue streams.
    Provide the accounts with product evolution inputs and roadmap definition.

Accounts Management

  • Follow the project implementations, set up a crisis management plan if necessary.
  • Ensure that relevant Market information are communicated

Business Development

  • Develop, propose and implement strategic planning for each country/Customer in line with company strategy
  • Identify new opportunities in value offering.
  • Improve SAP Oracle and ERP offering by creating venues and information sharing processes for efficient exchange of information about customers, competitors and industries.
    Establish and maintain a clear status for all actor relationship on the market.
    Create technical and sales synergies with third parties to enlarge the sales opportunities scope at the customers’.

Job Requirements

  • Ideally you would hold an Engineering or Business school diploma or post-graduate degree with sound experience is sales in the solution business sector with knowledge of High-Tech market: Smartcards, chips, Biometrics, Enrolment Systems, etc. with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in solutions selling and large account management, ideally in the Public & Private Sector
