Our client is involved across the FMCG sector with an established Supply Chain operation throughout the region.
The role reports to the Group Financial Director based at HQ in Johannesburg.
The role is “hands on” and requires a proactive audit professional to plan, organize, direct and control the group internal audit function that provides ongoing independent, objective assurance and consulting activity in order to add value to and assist the group and its entities accomplish set goals and improve effectiveness of risk management, governance and control processes. The principle of the audit and risk function requirement covers each business unit in every Country.

This challenging role would suit a qualified Audit professional – CA and/or completed articles of clerkship with a Big 4 firm and has had at least 2 years out of practice experience and a holder or studying towards Certified Internal Auditor Qualification (CIA). Consideration would be given to a newly qualified CA with the right personal profile. Ideally, little travel inhibition should exist and an ability to relocate to Johannesburg on a 12 months flexible basis with some travel back to Zim. Extensive travel to client’s various business units throughout the sub-region is on a continuous basis. The role would possibly appeal to a single person on the career fast track with passion for audit and risk work.
The role offers a negotiable salary and benefits required for relocation.
