Our client seeks a newly qualified Chartered Accountant – from the CA Firms seeking to jump start their career in the commercial ZSE Listed Sector.
The role offers a work and training opportunity supporting the Chief Financial Officer.
Your CA career training should have included working at other ZSE Listed clients.
The role is expected to;
- Contribute to overall company strategy and policy making by advising management on the financial implications of its decisions;
- Review monthly management accounts of subsidiaries and consolidation of Group monthly management accounts. (both in ZWL and real terms).
- Financial modelling, forecasting and preparation of financial and operational reports for CFO/CEO.
- Preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS standards and conditions.
- Tax computation, preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance and tax planning.
- Preparation of the Quarterly Reports for presentation to the Board.
- Cash flow planning and payments with regards to Head Office and the critical Group payments, as well as
- Liaising with Banks.
- Preparation of budgets for Head Office and for all other subsidiaries.
- Cost control, monitoring, and reporting – lead regular budget variance reviews with Finance Managers to manage operational spend on an ongoing basis.
- Assisting Finance Managers, with RBZ auction procedures including monitoring of acquittals and extensions.
