The job Group Chief Technology Officer is responsible for developing an environment that fosters a culture of innovation across the Group that attracts and enables successful innovations and modern I.T. solutions. The role also ensures the management and implementation of Information Technologies (I.T.) to increase information accessibility, support business, and operational controls, and enable IT-driven cost savings and efficiencies. 

In line with the Group’s strategy, the CTO is ultimately accountable for envisioning and executing the Group’s Technology and Innovation Roadmap that meets budgeted cost, performance, and lead times and is based on international I.T. Standards and Frameworks. 

The job accountabilities of the executive role are immense and are at the heart of the Group’s business and its operational efficiencies with its I.T. strategy and roadmap.

You must be a sound-qualified executive capable of leading an I.T. team to ensure the I.T. overall operations of the group activities are always met. 

Your career talent and experience must include a high level of innovation, design, digitalization, analytics, automation, and infrastructure solutions. Cyber security and I.T. governance matters are the Group’s priority, with project management and improvement systems key to success. 

As an experienced CTO, you must offer a Bachelor’s degree in business studies & Computing Science, Computer Science, or Information Systems, whereby a Master’s degree in a technology-related discipline would be an added advantage.

A proven track record of professional achievements as a CTO or in a similar leadership role, with at least 5-7 years-experience is wanted. 

You must be a strategic thinker with superior execution and analytical problem-solving skills.

A change leader with project management abilities and knowledge of technological trends to build strategy is a must. 

Good interpersonal skills, able to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, and competitive environment. 

It would be best if you were results-driven at the senior management level.
