Our client specializes in Health Insurance, and has been established for many years – currently is looking for a talented person to take up the challenging and interesting position of Digital & Content Marketing Officer
Main Purpose of The Job
The Digital & Content Marketing Officer role will be tasked with building a brand identity and online presence through the creation and dissemination of multimedia content online. This involves developing content strategies, managing a content team, growing an online community, and tracking that community’s growth, among other duties.
Main Duties of the Job
- Social media management – Understanding different brand requirements and decoding client briefs alongside your team manager is part of your job role. Creating campaigns and campaign reports will be required of you.
- Email campaigns – Conceptualizing, getting the right database, designing and blasting out emailers
- Analytics – Web analytics involves analyzing web traffic, social media analytics and analyzing these numbers to reduce bounce rate and optimize the pages for optimum results.
- Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics.
- Ensure a strong web presence on various channels/ Orchestrating digital content strategies across all online platforms
- Generate ideas to increase customer engagement.
- Driving traffic and engagement that translates to sales and brand promotion. Designing and implementing creative marketing strategies to disseminate content.
- Grow our subscriber base
- Content Writing – You will need to understand the basics of content writing for the company website, social media requirements, and blogs.
- Website management is also another important aspect of this role. You will need to understand how to build websites, manage landing pages and also optimize them with plug-ins, etc. with the help and guidance of your team.
- Provide feedback to the operations team to ensure quality service standards are maintained.
- Demonstrate business planning skills to achieve visitation & sales targets.
- Bringing a clearly differentiated value proposition to the market.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of best practices and ideas.
- Developing quotes and proposals.
- Prepare monthly management reports.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualification
- At least 5 O levels including Maths and English Language
- A degree in Marketing
- Social media or digital exposure
Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience in marketing
- Able to present a Marketing portfolio of evidence with measurables & references
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office – Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.
