Our client in the Construction industry is urgently looking to fill the above position.
Role:
This position is responsible for the daily operations of the Plant, including but not limited to safety, operations, maintenance, production, inventory control, environmental compliance, and the support and supervision of the Plant employees.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations.
- Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- Ensure that a safe workplace is maintained, based on company policies and safety guidelines.
- Ensure operation remains in compliance with all applicable environmental standards
- Capable of measuring raw material inventories and the ability to order and maintain inventory levels sufficient for the successful ongoing operation of the batch plant
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
- Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Business Management or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in plant management in a Construction company.
