The role shall oversee the sales, marketing, business development and customer experience for the Logistics cluster to create and deliver end to end solutions for new clients. You shall report the Managing Director.
Key Deliverables
Business Development
- Identifying new opportunities, markets, and products for the business
- Engaging and building sustainable and beneficial relationships with logistics partners which include airlines, shipping lines, rail operators, road operators, port operators, warehouse operators, freight forwarders.
- Initiating and executing projects within set budgets and timelines
- Developing total solutions and packages for existing and future clients to maximise number of touchpoints per customer.
Sales
- Achieving revenue and margin targets
- Continuously reviewing customers’ requirements
- Negotiating prices with customers.
Marketing
- Gathering market intelligence including but not limited to customer satisfaction surveys, competitor analyses, market share surveys.
- Managing the company brand to ensure visibility and equity.
- Managing digital marketing platforms
- Organising and attending events and exhibitions
Person Specification
- Degree in Marketing, Logistics, Business, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar or related role is sales – marketing of logistic services and business development.
