The role requires the successful person to assume the ultimate accountability for the direction, market positioning, sustainable performance, competitiveness, and continued transformation program by focusing on establishing and optimizing the daily operations and support structures of the Bank.
This important executive role requires a suitable leader to develop and implement the ICT and operations strategy.
The role supports the organization’s strategic goals with IT policies and systems to ensure efficient and effective ICT operations and network security.
With a specialized team, you are expected to lead, drive, and implement the risk, security, and overall operational framework for the efficient running of the operations of the Bank.
Your specialized skill shall require assisting with overall business technology planning and transformation by providing the Bank with current knowledge and future planning vision of technology and systems.
The immediate job requires managing and guiding internal operational functions to ensure all business units are effectively managed, leading to continuous cost improvement and maximizing stakeholder value.
You must provide that the operating objectives and performance standards are understood and owned by management and employees to ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
To achieve success across the business operations, you must maintain internal, external, and stakeholder relationships and mindset by ensuring that business areas align with a standard view and methodology.
The Bank’s success, performance, and operations are driven by the strategic IT policies and procedures aligned to market share and growth, which are guided by the Chief Operating Officer and team.
- To be considered for this executive role, you must have demonstrated a successful career in the IT Operations Division of the Financial Services Sector.
- Business Management Degree
- 5+ years of cyber security experience, including application security, PEN testing, IAM, vulnerability management best practices, and security strategy required.
- Master’s Degree an added advantage.
- IOBZ Diploma is an added advantage.
- Over ten years of experience in the financial services industry, at least five must be in a Senior Management position within the Operations and ICT environment.
