The CFO will be part of the senior management team, reporting to the CEO advising on the overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the company.
The primary CFO Job description includes presenting and reporting accurate and timely financial information of the company to the Board and all Stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Treasury and working capital management.
- Group financial reporting.
- Risk identification, monitoring, and control.
- Review and set up of internal control systems and procedures.
- Tax and statutory compliance
- Company secretarial function
A Chartered Accountant qualification with 5 – 10 years of experience in FMCG or in a similar position.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (IFRIS), with excellent knowledge of corporate financial laws and best practices.
The CFO needs to have broad technical knowledge in financial management and reporting, risk management, investment, and cash flow forecasting.
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
Experience in corporate governance and good negotiable skills
Experience in partnering with an executive team and reporting to a board of directors.
