The Chief Engineer will work closely with the Factory and Production Management teams to ensure the reliability of the plant’s machinery and operations at all times. The successful candidate will be responsible for all mechanical and electrical engineering requirements, ensuring that the technical engineering and artisan teams operate 24/7 on a shift basis, meeting the demands of plant operations.
Applicants for this role must be mechanical or mechatronics engineers with 10–15 years of experience, particularly in Preventative and/or Reliability Engineering.
You must have served as a Preventative and/or Reliability Engineer in your career, preferably in a manufacturing or similar sector.
Significant experience in reliability analysis, maintenance, and asset management controls is essential for driving optimal asset performance and innovation programs for the plant. The company operates a mix of modern and aged equipment, implementing new development systems while reviewing existing maintenance strategies to enhance reliability and availability through a streamlined Reliability-Centered Maintenance process.
