Our client seeks to appoint a Business Analyst who will play a critical role in supporting the Group Program Manager by gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements for strategic programs and projects across the Group. This role ensures that business needs are effectively translated into actionable solutions, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders, testers, third-party vendors, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise-level standards and adhere to legislation around data privacy, governance, and multi-jurisdictional regulations such as GDPR (General data protection regulation an POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act) across their operations. Some travel shall be expected to their SBUs across Africa.

Qualifications and Skills: 

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and governance laws, including GDPR, POPIA, and other regional legislation.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a multinational or African regional context.
  • Proven experience in managing enterprise-level process mapping and documentation across multi-jurisdictional and multi-lingual environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR, POPIA, and other relevant data governance frameworks.
  • Experience in managing and supporting digital transformation or operational optimization projects.
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., BPMN, UML, agile techniques).
  • Proficiency in enterprise tools (e.g., ERP, CRM systems) and process mapping tools (e.g., Visio,Skore).
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data security standards, and privacy laws.
