This exciting and challenging role shall enhance the image of the group through the improvement and upholding of set operational standards and procedures. Provide strategic, financial, operational leadership and people management for the brand in close liaison with the executive directors.
- As Brand General Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the brand.
- Be the business driver of the Brand, take full accountability for its overall performance from the day-to-day operations up to the annual results.
- To oversee all operations including product development, logistics and marketing.
- To develop strategies for the company as well as communicating these strategies to both the internal and external audiences.
- Enforce compliance to the Company’s vision, mission and set objectives.
- Provide effective people management, maintain a well-motivated and performance driven team.
- Produce operational budget estimates, monitor business performance, and ensure achievement of same.
- To ensure adherence to company systems, processes, and procedures as per SOP in liaison with Franchising.
- Monitor group activities to ensure budgets and profitability margins are achieved.
- Ensure proper recruitment, training, retention and development of the right skills for the organisation.
- Monitor on the set operations rules and procedures to ensure standards are met to customer satisfaction
- Accurate downtime monitoring recommending preventative measures.
- Ensure continuous and scheduled preventative maintenance is carried on all equipment.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct the Brand to achieve optimum profitability and effective use of business assets and human resources.
- Develop and review policy and plan, organize and control major functions relating to the operation and administration of the organization through structures.
- Organize resources, systems and the drive to realize the Brands Vision & Mission.
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated budgets, required reports, forecasts, and present them or recommend their adoption to the Executive Directors.
- Provide expert operational, financial guidance and advice to your teams.
- Develop the organization ‘s responsiveness to the changing environment by retaining, motivated, innovative, and committed employees.
- To ensure all operational activities are in full compliance with the country ‘s laws and regulations.
- Develop open and transparent communication channels in the organization and across all levels.
- Evaluating monthly, quarterly, bi – annual and yearly performance results of the Brand.
- Initiate and drive broad marketing strategies to achieve targets and grow the brand.
- Represent the organization in the engagement of stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Any other duties assigned or delegated from time to time.
