This role reports directly to the CFO and is responsible for the risk and audit controls for the company. You must be a qualified audit and risk practitioner with appropriate qualification such as CIA or CA.

All processes having an impact on the financial reporting are part of the scope: Control environment, Sales, Purchases, Inventories, Tangible & intangible assets, Finance, Treasury & financing, HR and IS&IT
Context / Challenges
- Implementing the Group Internal Control Standards in order to find a good balance between control and efficiency of processes and to obtain the maximum return on investment
- Obtaining the buy-
in and the accountability of operational managers on internal control and process improvement without having a hierarchical link, - Identifying process improvement opportunities,
- Challenging the quality of internal control and process efficiency, while supporting its implementation,
- Maintaining a balance between cost of control activities and mitigation of risks and efficiency,
- Having a global picture and follow-
up on the implementation of action plans - Maintaining a constructive relationship with the external auditors.
Educational Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or other course of a numerate background but must have relevant professional qualification – CIA or CA
- Qualification in business/performance management and/or systems/process review desirable.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in a professional audit firm or a busy large FMCG organization.
