This senior role shall be based at Head Office in their Retail. It offers the opportunity of a well-qualified Agronomist to join the retail division of a blue-chip employer. The role requires person to work closely with suppliers and contractors maintain category stock levels (many product lines) throughout the retail/depot operations. You must have the skill to negotiate prices and work closely with customers to meet customer demand. The role works closely with the various teams across sales/marketing sectors. This is a specialised function and therefore you must understand Agro-Chemicals – Seeds and Fertilizers and agricultural by-products. Product planning and stock levels would require seasonal control and planning. Previous experience in general agricultural and crop management in the field is required. Your knowledge of any key brand market products would be a distinct advantage.
You must have hold BSc Degree in Agriculture – a post qualifying MBA or alike. This role suits a person who can offer advice and guidance to their clients.
