Our client has been established for many years, a leading Hardware Retailer – is urgently looking to fill the above position.

Role and Scope 

The role involves selling the companies’ products into Hardware stores throughout Zimbabwe. 

Key Result Areas 

  • Identifying marketing opportunities by:
  • Pushing Company sales to meet/exceed budget
  • Identifying consumer requirements (manufacturing/mining/transport).
  • Adequately identifying projected product requirement levels per sector.
  • Assessing competitor’s activities and effectiveness per sector.
  • Projecting potential market share
  • Capturing market share 

Improving product marketability, visibility and profitability by: 

  • Analytical market research.
  • Identifying and capitalising on market opportunities.
  • Being alert to potential requirements of new products/opportunities.
  • Maintaining good relations with key customers.
  • Paying particular attention to specific customer needs.
  • Timely provision of critical Market information. 

Achieve marketing objectives by: 

  • Meticulous planning, developing, implementing and evaluating stocking, advertising and other marketing promotion programs.
  • Developing sales routes and servicing customers on those routes. 

Qualifications 

  • 5 O’ Levels including, Maths and English
  • Diploma in Marketing/ Sales with a reputable institution
  • Minimum Years of experience 2-3 years’ experience in similar role/ senior sales person role.
  • Knowledge of bolts, nuts and nails a distinct advantage, must have clean class 4 drivers license.
