We are looking for a proven senior insurance administrator who combines technical insurance expertise with the commercial instincts and leadership maturity to build and lead a growing financial institution.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A strong executive track record within the life assurance industry in Zimbabwe or the region.
- In-depth understanding of life insurance products, underwriting, actuarial principles, and asset-liability management.
- Working knowledge of risk-based solvency frameworks, particularly ZICARP, and IFRS 17.
- Demonstrable experience in strategic business development, operational management, and profitable growth.
- The ability to establish institutional structures, strengthen governance and lead organisational transformation.
- Strong Board-level engagement, sound judgement, and unquestionable professional integrity.
- The resourcefulness and resilience to operate successfully within a complex and evolving macroeconomic environment.
Qualifications:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Actuarial Science, Insurance, Finance, Business Studies, or Management is required. Relevant professional qualifications and certifications will be an advantage.
