The Valcol Group is seeking a suitably qualified and analytical Demand Planner to join an established client’s team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage demand planning, forecasting and data analysis for an allocated territory.
- Verify goods received and dispatched, investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
- Raise and follow up on claims relating to stock variances and distribution issues.
- Liaise with supply chain, distribution and key account personnel.
- Provide additional administrative and clerical support as required.
Requirements
- A qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or a related field would be an advantage.
- Experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory control or distribution.
- Strong analytical, numerical and Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational ability and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP or inventory management systems would be advantageous.
