Temporary Senior Assignment – Harare based office.
You must be capable of assisting our client in the mine sector offering excellent skills with ability to;
Review and management of internal controls and applications
Setting up of accounting systems and procedures
Preparation of subsidiary forecasts/budgets in consultation with business unit heads.
Review of trial balances including control accounts for creditors, debtors, payroll, projects, etc.
Preparation / review of all taxes, VAT, statutory returns and ensuring all relevant deadlines are met.
Drafting subsidiary financial statements.
Review of monthly contractor invoices and calculations.
Review and analysis of monthly financial and operations statistics
Monthly financial reporting – preparation of flash and management accounting packs within agreed deadlines and to agreed standards.
Meeting with business unit heads to obtain comments for accounting packs in timeous fashion.
Management of audit processes.
Management of finance personnel.
Any other duties considered to be relevant to the role
