An established and refocused manufacturing operation is seeking to appoint an experienced and commercially focused Head of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership and support business growth, operational efficiency, and profitability. 

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will lead the finance function, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, effective budgeting, cash flow management, and strategic decision-making across the business. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall finance and accounting function.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide commercial and financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Develop and strengthen financial controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Partner with production, procurement, sales, and supply chain teams to improve performance and profitability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team. 

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant – CA/ACCA (Articles of clerkship association membership).  
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years’ progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, or a high-volume production environment is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, budgeting, and cost accounting.
  • Proven leadership, analytical, and commercial acumen.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial reporting tools.
