Our client in the Financial Investment Banking sector seeks a dynamic and results-driven professional to join the team as Investment Banking Manager-Listings & Corporate Finance Advisory to be based their Head Office in Blantyre.
The Investment Banking Manager-Listings & Corporate Finance Advisory will be responsible for leading in identifying and closing deal opportunities for balance sheet restructuring services and listings of debt and equity securities, with a focus on increasing client returns. The position holder shall be responsible for direct client engagement, listing debt and equity instruments on stock exchanges, facilitating mergers and acquisitions, and leading financial intermediation activities such as IPOs and rights issues.
Additionally, the incumbent as an expert in capital markets, securities laws, and project management, shall be responsible for identifying new prospects, generating revenue, managing key strategic stakeholder relationships, and achieving cross-selling targets. The position holder shall proactively develop and improve business in line with market dynamics and manage long-term relationships in accordance with investment banking norms.
Candidates, from the Investment Banking sector must have good experience in handling mergers and acquisitions with excellent knowledge of handling IPOs, Capital markets, listings and stock exchange operations.
Other skills and abilities required include:
- Proficiency in financial and market analysis and risk management.
- Strong transaction structuring and project management skills.
- Capacity to cross sell, attract and retain customers.
- Accounting principles and financial modelling.
Qualifications & experience desired:
- Degree/master’s degree in business administration or MSc in banking, finance, economics, or equivalent from a recognised university.
- 5 years of managerial experience in treasury, banking, or finance.
- 7 years’ experience in banking, treasury, or finance.
- Chartered accountant or chartered Financial Analyst will have an added advantage
