Our client seeks a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead their Valuation Advisory Services division.
The General Manager, shall be responsible for managing staff, overseeing the divisional budget, and ensuring the successful delivery of valuation and advisory services.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of valuation professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Develop and manage the division’s budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Oversee the valuation and advisory portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Handle special or complex valuation assignments, leveraging advanced expertise.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to promote the division.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for the board, highlighting key achievements and recommendations.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals.
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate management, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Professional certifications such as REIZ, CFA, ASA, or RICS are highly desirable.
- Should be registered with Valuer’s Council.
- At least 5 years’ extensive experience in valuation, with a solid understanding of industry standards.
- Proven track record in a managerial role, demonstrating strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and experience in promoting services.
- Familiarity with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations.
